China business visa requirements

• Passport requirements: Original passport valid for at least six (6) months beyond stay, with at least 2 to 3 blank visa pages available. Multiple entry one year visas require the passport to be valid for fourteen (14) months beyond stay
• One (1) completed and signed application form: Original signature in blue or black ink only. All questions must be answered
• One (1) recent colour photo: Photos should be 48mm x 33mm taken on a light coloured background with no sunglasses , hats or headgear
• OFFICIAL Invitation letter : The invite letter must be issued from a Chinese government department, or foreign affairs office. The original invite letter is not required at the present time, a scanned copy is acceptable even for multiple entry visa. OR
• Invite letter from a chinese company + Business letter from Canadian company (this only applies for non government invites).
• Itinerary – complete with name of traveller and entry and exit date – on a travel agent letterhead
• Service request form (SOF): This is EmbassyLink’s Service Order Form. You must include a copy of this form with all other supporting documents.
• Special Notes: Please note that there are 2 types of invite letters that are now accepted by the consulate.
