Brazil tourist visa requirements

• Passport requirements: Original passport valid for at least six months, signed in designated place with at least 1 blank page
• One (1) completed online application form: Kindly print the receipt and sign inside the box.
• One (1) recent colour photo (scanned photos not acceptable) Photo should be 35mm x 45mm with a white or light coloured background, neutral expression with mouth closed and no hats or sunglasses .
• For cruising:Photocopy of round trip ticket to Brazil, OR a copy of itinerary on a Travel Agents company letterhead. For cruises; a copy of the cruise itinerary with the name of the ship and dates of arrival and departure. Confirmation of payment issued by the cruise line.
• For conference: Copy of receipt for conference, or invite or information on the conference.
• Proof of financial means eg bank statements/ bank letter of good standing
• Independent travellers should provide a cover letter detailing their proposed plans whilst visiting Brazil. This letter should be addressed to the Consulate
• If visiting friends or family, the invite letter from the host must be included, with a copy of their status in Brazil ie. Brazilian ID
