Company Profile

EmbassyLink’s office is located in the heart of the business district of downtown Vancouver, British Columbia Canada.

Our clientele  include corporate travel agents, business travellers from the mining and shipping industry, immigration lawyers, the film industry and independent travellers.

Staff

Manager and present owner : Caroline Shainbom
Caroline was born in Northern Rhodesia (now Zambia) and educated in Southern Rhodesia (now Zimbabwe), England and South Africa, Caroline spent her childhood travelling with her family to Europe, England, America and parts of Africa. She graduated from Teachers training College with a Diploma in Education and began her career as a nursery school and grades teacher. After her children were born she worked part time in a small personal retail business.
In 1996 Caroline moved with her husband, 2 children, her father and one cat to Vancouver. On completion of a Travel and Tourism diploma course taken in Vancouver she worked for a couple years in the tourism industry before a colleague approached her with the idea of starting a travel visa company together and the rest is history. Caroline loves to travel and was fortunate enough to be invited by the Tanzania High Commission in Ottawa to visit Tanzania in 2006. Caroline have visited Kenya, Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Namibia, Botswana, South Africa, Mauritius, Seyselles, Lesotho and Swaziland and is a valuable source of information regarding travelling within Africa.

Office Administrator: Tunde Toth.

Tunde was born and raised in Serbia and has a degree in Food Technology. She worked as a manager on the production side of a large bakery in Serbia for a number of years before moving with her husband to Hungary were she explored the countryside as well as Austria and Croatia. In 2004 they moved to London, England were she studied and developed her administrative skills. In 2008 they realized their dream and moved to Canada. Tunde brings to EmbassyLink her wonderful positive nature, great organizational skills and efficiency, as well as her ability to read Russian.
